Pix | Neff Case Study – Multiplatform Content Creators

Here at Set Visions, we offer cross platform content for targeted marketing campaigns. Our global client Neff, an international kitchen appliance brand, use our content to inspire and educate potential UK customers, helping to increase their brand’s awareness and generate sales.

The Brief

The set design was carefully considered for this project. Our team created three kitchen layouts that incorporated Neff’s cooking, cooling and washing appliances. Our Head of Creative also lead the interior design and unique cooking stories, making sure the personality behind the iconic brand could be interpreted and understood by the UK market.

As our client was keen to have as much original content as possible, we worked with their marketing department to deliver main images alongside cameos, which gave a more candid feel to the photography style. By updating the images with product variations, we were able to deliver multiple product shots that are in situ and relatable, avoiding the need of sterile white product cut outs.

Following the stills, we then animated the 3D files to produce customer facing videos. These informative shorts gave hidden information about their products and highlighted the ease of use. Each video is based on the series of lifestyle images we created in 3Ds Max and gives our client the ability to advertise their customer base on multiple platforms with a consistent brand message.

The creation of a microsite is a great marketing strategy for the brand. They’re good for search engines and SEO and they can focus on a specific range or brand message. Ecommerce is a competitive place and savvy shoppers know how to research and compare products online before making their purchase. This is why multi-platform content educates, inspires and more importantly, builds shoppers confidence in the brand.

Create A Conversation With Your Audience

Set Visions inhouse photography team, Capture, produce enticing food photography with the same flair and creative direction as our electronic and FMCG imagery. Here’s a great case study highlighting our photography studio working alongside our CGI studio to deliver images for brochure and social media.

As Pix, our CGI service, and Capture are both under one roof we provided a cost-effective solution to Everhot’s tactile photographic brief. Our Head of Creative pitched the imagery to their core customer base whilst having an editorial look to land their brand in the glossy interior mag circuit.

As a creative content studio, we think about the bigger picture for our clients. We needed our images to not only inform and educate the consumer about the product - we also wanted them to connect emotionally, especially for social media. Firstly, we created a stylist lead bank of cost effective computer generated imagery. We then produced a series of photography shots that support the CG story with recipe inspired images that tie in with the series of renders.

The set of images are pitched to the home cook who has a creative flair, with the interior design and recipes being achievable and relatable. Our Head of Creative was the linchpin to make sure the art direction was consistent across both services. To keep costs down we kept to table top photography produced by our inhouse photo team and food stylist.

The images are great content for social media. They allow the brand to cultivate a community and encourage discussion amongst followers about their product and recipes, where people with similar lifestyles share interests through brand touch points. Building customer engagement and loyalty is a great strategy for a product that is a once in a lifetime investment.

Bake off Bonanza

Over the past month here at Set Visions we have been holding our very own Great Set Visions Bake Off! It’s been a month of tasty talents from our creative team showcasing some stylish designs and mouth-watering treats! After rigorous tasting, voting and waist band expanding three golden spoons were awarded…


Jal-Bake-CakeJal our Head of Creative produced an unconventional beauty much like she does with her interior and room set design. Awarded the Golden Spoon for Creativity her Chocolate Cherry Delight made with beetroot, wild flowers and mascarpone. It was an elegant floral beauty that won the hearts of everyone who voted.


Owen-Cake-BakeThe winner of tastiness goes to Owen (CGI artist and baker extraordinaire) for his Coconut Lemon Drizzle Cake which was thoughtful and packed with taste which exhibited top baking skills. Owen's meticulous approach to baking is reflected in the visualisation and CGI animation he works on here at Set Visions.

And the winner of moistness and the overall winner of the competition goes to Nina! Nina's attention to detail and perfectionists eye can be seen in her lifestyle and trend work, top work from our Head Photographic Stylist. Congratulations, your delicious, Berry Bundt Cake (fruit cake) was intricate, beautiful but also had the perfect balance of moistness, taste as well as overall goodness which has won you the crown of The Great Set Visions Bake Off 2016.
