Due to a
planned expansion, the Set Visions production team are opening their books to
expand their freelance network.
We have a
unique brand of photorealistic CGI. We combine traditional photography
techniques with the latest CGI technologies to create the most realistic
alternative to traditional photography in the marketplace. Our client list
ranges from blue chip companies to independent retailers and global marketing
agencies, not one brief is the same!
We expect
our full team to have a creative flair, a real interest in architecture,
interiors, photography, video, and design. Otherwise, we are not the right
agency for you.
Experience
in 3ds Max and V-Ray is essential, knowledge in Unreal Engine and AR
optimisation would be beneficial. Remote workers are welcome, along with those
who would like to be on site. You will be working as part of a team so good
communication and the ability to think on your feet is essential.
We are
looking for a mixture of Senior CG artists or those just starting out from University,
with the possibility of short- and long-term contracts being available further
down the line.
For more
information on Set Visions check out our website pix.setvisions.co.uk and setvisions.co.uk.
If you are
interested, please send a short introduction and a portfolio of work to
jobs@setvisions.co.uk and we will be in touch if we feel your skill set matches
our requirements.

It goes without saying 2020 has been a roller coaster year.
As the set Visions team are winding down we’re taking some time to reflect on the highs and lows this year has brought. It’s definitely been a mixed bag of emotions, but I’m happy to say we’re ending the year on a positive note; new client wins and a planned expansion sees our CGI team collaborating with a global advertising agency.
We have seen a dramatic increase in enquiries for interactive solutions as brands look for new and meaningful ways to engage with customers. As we’re seeing an uplift in our AR projects, we predict this trend will only grow in strength next year.
We’re ever thankful for our team’s on-going support. By keeping our Photography Studio doors open we have delivered essential packaging shots for our ecommerce clients in time for Christmas.
A big thank you goes to our CGI team who have balanced remote working alongside full time childcare.
With their dedication, we can in turn, support and strengthen your business in 2021.

The bohemian look is created by combining patterns and textures from around the world to create an effortless yet curated look. The earth tones are colours rooted in nature and used together they can create a calming environment that is on-trend for 2020.
You can achieve this look in your own home by layering up throws and pillows and creating your own macramé or even hanging rugs on the walls.
The bedroom our creatives designed shown below encapsulates the trend perfectly.
The tufted rug, cushion and wall hanging add texture to the space and the warming shades of terracotta and pink work in harmony with the natural wooden floor and concrete coloured walls to create a calming space.
How to style up this look.
- Use a calming palette of earth tones
- Stick to natural materials like wool, wood and leather
- Layer up textiles that add texture
- Hang pieces on the walls to add interest

The past few months has been a challenging time for most people and businesses. Here at Set Visions we have been navigating through the changes brought about by remote working and social distancing, and we are pleased to say that due to their hard work and determination, our team have taken the changes in their stride with little or no loss to productivity.
Many have had the additional obstacle of juggling childcare or home teaching while still trying to maintain an eight-hour working day! Despite this, we have not seen a dip in moral or in the quality of their work and we are grateful to them all.
The Set Visions CGI team have been luckier than most having maintained a full order book throughout the lockdown period whilst picking up new clients. As some of our existing customers went into furlough, the CG team were asked to solve our customer’s photography problems caused by social distancing restrictions.
Our team have continued to work from home as normal creating CG environments and product imagery that would otherwise be unachievable through conventional photography methods.
With positive signs emerging we are keeping our mindset focused on what we are doing, ready to adapt and work with our clients to produce eye-catching content.

With little chance of holidaying on
a faraway tropical island this summer or even a trip to the spa, why not create
the next best thing at home?
Here is a bathroom we recently
designed for a radiator company to get you inspired!
It successfully combines the modern
tropical trend with luxurious hints of brassware, a forest green wall and a mix
of light and dark wood tones creating a rich backdrop. There is also plenty of
open storage space which is useful for stacks of fresh towels and keeping your
luxury cosmetics and beauty products to hand!

How to style up this look.
• Create
a statement with tropical print tiles
• Mix
light and dark wood tones
• Be
brave and go for a dark forest green wall
• Add
hints of luxurious brass
• Keep
your towel stacks and products out on display

Platforms such as Amazon and Pinterest have undoubtably been leading the way consumers search for products online. Brands are taking note of this change in consumer habits, preferring to search for inspirational product images rather than the traditional text based search engines.
Image searching is instantly gratifying, instantly communicates brand values and shortens the buying process for consumers.
Set Visions CGI team creates emotive lifestyle and editorial product renders that connect with ecommerce shoppers, helping to convert the visual enquiries to online sales.
Our multiple product shots also provide the essential content that is picked up by search engines, elevating our client’s brand and Google ranking.

With huge investment in Pinterest Lens and Asos Style Match, brands need to take on board this change in shoppers’ habits, making visual searches key to their digital marketing strategy. Our advice is to optimise your images for SEO, add your alt tags and make your images mobile friendly.
Don’t be left behind with poor visual content.
Contact our CGI team to find out how we can help to visually engage with your online customers.

With the average 9 to 5 now on hold, working from home is
the new norm.
As workers realise perching at the breakfast bar 8 hours a
day isn’t ideal, consumers are turning to online shopping for more posture
friendly solutions. A surge in DIY and spatial reconfiguring has seen unused and
unloved corners converted to our official home offices.
With the unpredicted surge of online shopping, some retail
sites maybe caught off guard by missing product images or dated lifestyle shots
that do not reflect the true personality of our nation’s homes.
As budgets are being reviewed, content marketing needs to
continue to maintain the conversation with your customers. Increased web time
is an opportunity to convert online browsing to purchases.
Our CGI quick turnaround service produces engaging
photorealistic images for email, social and website campaigns. Our team just
need basic product dimensions and a couple of reference images to get started.
As the unforeseen restrictions firmly stay in place, CGI
photography is a great imagery solution to the traditional go-to studio shoot.

The Set Visions CG team is fully up and running, working
remotely with minimal disruption to the production schedule. Our project
managers ensure clients are kept updated so they can have maximum input from
the safety of their homes.
We believe content marketing is key to maintaining a
relationship with your customers. To find out more info about our cost-effective
service contact the studio to arrange a call from our team.
